TEST BENCH APPLICATION

Benches for testing internal combustion engines are intended for running-in, acceptance and commissioning, investigation tests of engines, including those operating on alternative fuels, with power output up to 500 kW.

The bench ensures checking of the main power specifications, economic and ecological parameters of engines according to GOST 18509, 10448, 10150 and EEC rules for determination of emissions of harmful pollutants with exhaust gases (EGs) by internal combustion engines (ICE), exhaust smoking, net power according to instructions of UNECE Rules (No. 24, No. 49, No. 85, No. 96), EU Directives (97/68/ЕС, 2000/25/ЕС, 2005/13/ЕС, 2005/21 /ЕС, 91 /542/ЕЕС, 72/306/ЕЕС, 88/77/ЕЕС and other Directives concerning determination of emissions of harmful pollutants by ICE and exhaust smoking), ISO 8178, ISO 16183, ЕРА (US Smoke Test, test for exhaust smoking).

Bench building concept ensures the possibility to extend its functional capabilities by adding the appropriate equipment (CVS, dynamic particle analyzers, gas analyzers).

Asynchronous dynamometer providing energy recovery to the circuit may be used as a loader.

BASIC CONFIGURATION OF THE BENCH INCLUDES:

automated test operator workstation;

engine loading and idling device;
