TEST BENCH APPLICATION
Benches are intended for performance of the whole cycle of dynamic tests of generators according to the “Manual on repairs of generator units of locomotive traction passenger cars running in international traffic”.
The bench ensures automatic cycle of undercar generators.
The bench may be arranged in two versions: with loading of generator with resistance load, and with recuperation of energy.
The second version provides for high energy efficiency, as only power needed for operation of auxiliary units and generator running losses is taken from electrical network.
BASIC CONFIGURATION OF THE BENCH INCLUDES:
automated test operator workstation;
supporting frame with actuating motor;
system for electrical stressing of the main winding, including the heat exchanger;
system for electrical stressing of auxiliary windings;
system for measurement of rotation rate;
system for measurement of electric parameters of the generator.
